Connect to an Aroma Shooter

AromaPlayer is a companion app to the Aroma Shooter, so it is essential to connect to an Aroma Shooter device to make use of the app's features.

  1. When there is no Aroma Shooter connected, the top right button will display "No connection." Tap this button.

  2. In the connection screen, you will see the serial numbers of all nearby, powered Aroma Shooters. If you don't see your Aroma Shooter serial number, please ensure Bluetooth is activated on your iOS device and that your Aroma Shooter is on. Connectable devices will appear in the "Available" section. Please tap your device's serial number to connect.

  3. Once you connect to your Aroma Shooter, its serial number will appear in the "Connected" section. Tap "Back" to return to the main screen.

  4. Verify that the title of the top right button now displays "Connected (1)." The number in parentheses refers to the number of connected Aroma Shooters.

Set up the cartridges

After you've connected your Aroma Shooter, you may set up the cartridge information for that device.

  1. Tap "Devices" at the bottom of the main screen.

  2. Tap the serial number of the Aroma Shooter whose cartridges you'd like to modify. The list of serial numbers on this screen refers to all Aroma Shooters you have connected to in the past, whether or not you have an active connection.

  3. On the following screen, examine the six cartridge badges each associated with an Aroma Shooter cartridge slot. You may tap one to diffuse the corresponding scent.

4. To update a cartridge's information, tap "Edit." 5. "Swap" and "Delete" buttons will appear above each cartridge badge. To update the cartridge badge image and name, tap "Swap." 6. Search for and select the desired cartridge.

Videos

Create and edit a video

  1. To create a new video project, tap "+" on the main screen. Or if you prefer to edit an existing project, simply tap the project thumbnail.

  2. On the video screen, tap the title to re-name your project.

  3. To open a video file, tap the video icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  4. In the view window, there are several common playback functions such as a Play/Pause button, a loop button, and a full-screen button.

  5. Below the view window is the scent track editor. Notice the names of the smells associated with your connected Aroma Shooter. This is where the magic happens! Hold your finger at the desired moment to embed the desired scent.

  6. Tap "←" to finish and return to the main screen. You will be prompted to save your work. If you'd like to reset your progress, tap "Don't save."
