AromaController Desktop

This is the manual of AromaController for desktop operating systems (available on Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu).

Download

1. Visit our AromaController app page: https://aromajoin.com/software/apps/aroma-controller

2. Select your OS at the bottom of the page (choose from either Windows, Mac, or Linux).

3. Click the relevant download button to start downloading.

Installation

After downloading, you will receive a .zip file. Unzip that file, and open the unzipped folder. The following steps are dependent on your operating system. For Windows and Mac, you must install a driver before installing the application.

• Windows: Double click on CDM21228_Setup.exe to install the driver, then double click on AromaController-2.0.0-win.exe to install the application.

• Mac (or macOS): Double click on FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_4_2.dmg to install the driver, then double click on AromaController-2.0.0-mac.dmg to install the application.

• Linux (Ubuntu): Double click on AromaController-2.0.0-amd64.deb to install the application.

Aroma Shooter connection setup

After installing, connect your Aroma Shooter to your computer using a USB cable.

UI

Launch the application, and review the UI.

Confirm connection

First, to check if there is any Aroma Shooter connected, click "Settings." From the settings screen, you may confirm your Aroma Shooter's serial number matches the serial number displayed under "Connected devices."

After confirming a successful connection, click "Home" to go back the home screen.

Diffuse scents

Simply click to the button corresponding to the scent you want to diffuse.

Changing cartridge display settings

To change each cartridge's name and image, click the "Settings" button.

Under "Aroma Cartridge," select the cartridge you want to modify, then enter its new name inside the popup.

Basic settings

In addition to the cartridge settings, you may customize other properties such as app language, home screen background image, diffusion duration, app theme, and button shape. Adjust these settings in the "Basic Settings" section.
